I have a new man in my life.

His name is Bernard and he was abandoned by his owners when they moved home and looked after by the wonderful people at the RSPCA in Newport, S.Wales.

He gets his own way.... most of the time.

Hello Bloggy world.
This isn't your average new year 'lets get back to it' return to blogging.
I've been away for so long because my Dad passed away. He has been ill for a long time and he had been in hospital so many times we had lost count. Dad caught another chest infection and then contracted pneumonia. We sat there all night holding his hands, just waiting. It was all my nightmares come true in one night.

He passed in September and I'm only now coming to terms with it all. It still doesn't feel real.

Also my beautiful cat lucky died a week later. We buried Her and Dad on the same day. I think she couldn't live without him. I feel like I've lost my sister.

So I'm hoping that spilling my guts in minute chunks on here will help a little. (Just realised how gross that sounds but I'm going to run with it)

So, here's to 2011. It's got to be better than the last one.

Hello blog world.
I have a the craziest few months.
Long story short I'm sat in work in a college where I teach waiting to find out if I have got the job that I've been doing since January. I'm bricking it.
I want this so much. I keep telling myself that it isn't the end of the world because I have offers elsewhere but I love the fact that it is a little out of the way. I love the students. I love the people. I love the content.

If I didn't want it, I wouldn't care so much and my legs would not feel like jelly right now.

My beautiful cat, Lucky, had all her fur shaved off this week because it got so matted. I feel so bad for her but it had to be done. So instead of showing you a pic of her now, this is a pic of how she should look. Puuuuurfect. :)

This is my mams sheep collection along with the sheep dog who looks after them.
The reason i'm putting this up is because my auntie-in-law-to-be made the sheep on the bottom left in her pottery class. he is fab and we are very grateful for the new addition. :)

This is razor saying hello. We got them a Fogger for Christmas which has increased the humidity and they are loving it. :)

I knew making my own website would be hard. I knew it would require me to learn fast and be super creative but I never thought it would consume me like this.

I only wanted something little. Something to stick on the end of a bio in a mag. Something that laid the foundations for my future self promotion (not really needed yet as I'm doing sod all writing)

But I'm obsessed. The administrator thingy is open on my computer practically all day. I'm stirring my wok full of lemon chicken and I'm dashing off upstairs because I've thought of something I want to add.
I'ts naff at the moment. Very basic and to be honest I'm not doing enough in the writing world to make a decent website about it.

but hay.... I own leahebdon.com. how cool is that?
